I’ve been in one WW2 US sub-the 505 is a LOT smaller inside (and the US subs are tiny). Interestingly the German subs could dive a lot deeper than ours could. US subs did to Japan what German subs tried to do to Great Britain. Took real guts to be in one of those things.

Good for you. Some people “try” repeatedly. My uncle Jim smoked for decades, 3 packs a day. Decided to quit, threw away rage pack and never lit another. Takes determination.

Stay hydrated my friend. Gatorade is your friend when you are sweating a lot. Doc friend of mine claims “all people over 60 are dehydrated because we don’t drink enough”. He temps and prodigious sweating only exacerbate the problem.
