    Copperhead grips

Nice grips (scary snakes😳). I’m pretty sure they were the reason shotguns were invented…..

    On non lethal SD

I’d think that 37 mm job or beanbags from a 12 bore would produce that result. Sadly, the handheld launchers available to the public seem to fail pretty seriously in that regard.

Battle of Britain: Myth vs. Reality

Not to mention German air crews shot down were “lost”, RAF aircrews were safe and flying the following day.

The Army has another new rifle, the XM8 carbine

Yeah, simple system, what could possibly go wrong🙄

The Army has another new rifle, the XM8 carbine

It will eventually become “normal” as has every other single round that the military has adopted (sole exception being 30-03 which didn’t last long). .223 will stick around, as has .308, 30-06 and 45/70.

First Ships Transit Strait Of Hormuz Under New U.S. Protection Plan

Color me skeptical-I wouldn’t believe Iran if they told me I was in Kentucky and the sun was shining. The ONLY thing they respect is brute force. If the regime remains in power you know they’ll be crowing about their “victory” over the great Satan. I sincerely hope Donald thumped them...

Lyman’s Great Plains Signature Series Now From Pedersoli

Pedersoli builds good stuff. I’ve got an old “Long Hunter”that is one of the most accurate rifles I own. Always lusted after one of their Quigley Sharps

    kimber?????

My sole experience with Kimber was several years ago. I bought a new Solo when they first came out. At the time was THE most expensive handgun I’d ever bought. Loved the way it felt in hand and how easy it was to carry. Was incredibly accurate for a pocket pistol BUT I was never able...

    On non lethal SD

Like any sane person I have zero desire to shoot, much less kill, anyone. My preferred weapon of choice would be a phaser set to “stun”, but given the scarcity of phasers and the violent world we live in I carry a firearm, all day, everyday. I’ve written here about my experience with a...

Why Do So Many Prosecutors Let Criminals With Illegally Converted GLOCK Pistols Walk?

Yeah, you actually take the thugs off the street and crime (and shootings) would drop precipitally, that’ll never help make the case for more gun control-better turn ‘em loose so they can get in another shooting.

    Reminiscing…

In our (very) small town my Dad’s much younger cousin Betty worked the soda fountain at Rexall. She always took good care of us when we came in for an soda or ice cream

    Daffy Zone…..

“Funds specifically directed toward local gun violence initiatives”. Really?? I’ve been around firearms now for well over 6 1/2 decades-never yet say a violent gun😏. How about directing funds toward enforcing the Law? Back when the earth was still recovering from the ice age (early 80’s)...

Made in America ain't cheap, but it is worth it if you can afford it.

I’m amazed that there are no small utility tractors for small ag operations still made in the USA. I was shopping in 03 and had done my homework. Local JD dealer made a big deal out of 5-50 hp tractors being “made in America, built in Augusta, Georgia”. I had just moved from Augusta-my...

    Reminiscing…

Good times indeed. And kids were a lot healthier and better off. Somehow, without helmets knee and elbow pads we all managed to ride bikes and survive.🙄

    Put a Cap on it.

I’ve got an old Lyman 1858 .44 Remington New Army that I used to shoot a bit of competition with. Great old pistol. At one time 45 years ago it and a couple .22 Rugers (auto and single six) were the only handguns I owned. That ol Remington lived in my nightstand for several years, with a...

    Daffy Zone…..

Sadly all Hitler did was tell people what they wanted to hear-“we are in a mess and it’s somebody else’s fault”. Stimulate the economy a bit and folks blindly follow. Putin’s done the exact same thing, as have most dictators. Look at the number of our citizens who’ll blindly throw away...
