If State Govt should even be involved (with guns) at best it should be administrative. LTC for example. The right to own a gun has already been legislated. I can't believe if these asinine laws were challenged the SCOTUS would uphold them even they defer to State law frequently.

I have followed this concept since being taught in the late 80's. Being able to recognize slower changing patterns/behaviors and making avoidance changes is something all should learn. The biggest hurdle is preparing yourself to go from calm/relaxed to finality as the situation quickly changes.
