    The Shakedown Shack

Several of my family have worked as servers. I met my wife when she was a waitress almost 50 years ago, and the service was fabulous! (I think she liked the uniform and my gun, in addition to my movie star looks and sparkling personality). My attitude about tips is old fashioned. If I have...

What are you doing right now??

Granddaughter transport day, critters and me fed, shooting with Posse on my range this morning. I think we'll shoot some hostage rescue drills and carjacker drills today and work my Banshee a bit.

    Flying to Virginia

Your firearm must be unloaded in a locked hard case. Ammo must be in a separate container. You declare the firearm to the ticket agent when you check the bag. They will make you unlock the case, certify the gun is unloaded, sign a card they give you and lock it in the case with the gun. Your...

    Flock cameras at gun ranges

Officers typically canvas areas where crimes have occurred to get permission from owners of surveillance cameras to access video. If data goes to the cloud I am pretty sure you would need a warrant if the owner doesn't give it up.

I trust published data in Speer reloading handbooks that have been tested. I don't load a lot of different cartridges but trust Speer to steer me right

    Flock cameras at gun ranges

I have cameras covering my home. If I owned a gun shop I would want security cameras all over it because gun shops are a target for burglars. But general surveillance cameras with their data out in the public domain are problematic.

I would say more range time is indicated for the PD

I hate second guessing decisions on the street, but I have to wonder if long guns were available or employed by officers. Training is an expensive proposition in terms of manpower and deployment, ammo, and facilities. Many agencies are struggling to meet stsffing demands and just can't afford...

USAF Supplemental Inspection of M18 Modular Handguns

The irony is that knowledgeable people knew the answer the day it happened. The criminal investigation told the story from the outset. The rest is pile on media and internet warrior distortion and hype. On principle, I truly hope SIG sues the crap out of the purveyors of the libelous BS.
