    Night sights for 1911 Ronin?

It sure would be nice if gun makers would adapt a single style or version instead of having to guess. Better yet have the sight info printed in the gun manual. at least that would give some of us a reference to go by.

    Night sights for 1911 Ronin?

Can they be that difficult to install? or just another reason to void someone's warranty. I guess I thought replacing the sights would be similar to changing sights on many other pistols. It seems that's not the case.

    Disassemble Prodigy Thumb Safety

In order to more easily get at the sear spring. A few weeks back I went to install a mag well on my Prodigy. I wasn't thinking when removing the pin at the bottom that force would push the main spring housing out. That force made the sear spring dislocate and needless to say something pretty...

    Disassemble Prodigy Thumb Safety

I am a bit lost when it comes to disassembling and reassembly of the thumb safety my Prodigy. In several 1911 threads I see the hammering being cocked when removing and installing of the thumb safety. In a few others it wasn't so clear. What will happen if the hammer is left in the down position...

    Dawson Precision Magwell for Prodigy

Quick question ... Do you mind saying what kind of lube you used? I wasn't sure if it mattered but thought some kinds might cause damage to the polymer.

    Prodigy 4.25" Front sight

Xdman, I’m feeling a bit lost when it comes time the Prodigy having a roll pin to lock the front sight in place. A member over in 1911 addicts was having an issue with his Prodigy front sight. I told him to look at this thread ,that it might be of help. anyway my confusion comes from someone...

11 Top Holsters for Your 1911 DS Prodigy

From my experience No it doesn't. My 1911 holster is leather and my Prodigy is too wide for the mouth of the holster. My experience may differ from others due to various brands and material. Good luck in your search.

    Hellcat Trigger

I believe if you ever need to return it for repair, they most likely would remove it and reinstall a factory trigger. Different manufacturers handle aftermarket installs differently.

You can do a work around if you have on hand a screw with the same thread pitch. if you have one screw it on and then grind what you need off the threads. back out the screw and you should be good to go.

You and I seem to have had very similar types of surgery. Eight yrs ago this month I had open heart, and six weeks ago neck surgery. I constantly remind myself how blessed I am to be alive. Merry Christmas to all. I pray that our world will realize, with out God it won’t be long and all be lost.
