I have roughly 100+ rds of .300 Win Mag ammunition...loaded 40 yrs. ago. It has been stored in appropriate plastic ammo boxes this whole time and not subjected to dampness or other unfavorable conditions. So, what's the consensus of older ammo useability. How much degradation if any takes place...

This is why Mag-Na-Porting is so effective. It aids in expelling that "jet blast" the author speaks of. Owned a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag years ago Mag-Na-Ported...huge reduction in muzzle flip as well as felt recoil. My .300 Win Mag same thing...still have it.
