Remington 870, but I really miss the Ithaca 37. And yes the lack of a disconnector in the 37 has its benefits. Like laying a lot of concentrated fire down quickly.

I unload all loaded mags every month and swap them out. Like Night Rider I change ammo every year and shoot the ammo I carried last year.

I remember those and have shot about half of them .

These are metal double stack mags correct? And this occurs with 1 to 2 mags left in the mags?. Take them apart and see if something may be causing the follower to hang up under recoil in the funnel area of the mag. Without having one in front of me that's all I got. Good luck
