My philosophy too.... I carry a Colt Agent 38Sp about 90% of the time.

That longer case neck than the 243 helps makes it easier to reload too.

Nice....I had the exact same rifle once. That M70 is not a pre-64, which is really only a big deal to a collector, not a shooter or hunter. The "pre-64" was only chambered in 270, 30-06, 300 Savage (rare!), 308 and 7x57, from all the accounts I have read.

If your holster is canted, you have to "swing' the pistol (revolver) that much further around to get up on your sights. Always seemed like common sense to me. I have never really bought into the argument that a canted holster provides you "more concealment," but I get it .... I get that...
