Although I have many, this is my minimum.

    My EDC, Pepper Spray 😲

Bad choice in sprays, all sprays are not the same 😉.

Is there really that much difference

The so called experts say pistol calibers just punch holes, it stands to reason the bigger the hole the better 😉.

    Cane For Personal Protection

I had the same issue with the grip, this grip tape (off Amazon) has worked great 👍.

    Cane For Personal Protection

Nice cane, you remember what color that cane is? One thing about the dark Canemasters canes, if you scratch or scuff it up, because of the treatments on the cane you can’t get any stain to stay on, and on the handle it quickly wears off. For that reason I will go lighter on the color on my next...

    Cane For Personal Protection

I am looking at getting another cane. The dark Canemasters I have is great but it’s a bit heavy, I’m looking at getting something a bit lighter, just a bit. My thoughts are a Canemastercane with a bit of woodwork to lighten it up a bit to get to that sweet spot of weight and speed. I want to...

    My EDC, Pepper Spray 😲

Pepper spray is in the same category as a firearm, that’s just crazy, who would ever think that 😳. Reasonable force is how you will be judged, every assault does not rise to a level where a firearm is justifiable, for those situations a quality pepper spray is the best option. Just like any self...

Is there really that much difference

Are you now carrying a pistol in .22 long rifle now 🤔 ? If caliber doesn’t matter that would be your best choice, no recoil and high capacity.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Are we talking about the same gun 🤔, my 45 Shield weighs 2 ounces more than my 9mm Shield.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Looking at this new .45 Shield I was surprised to see it is the same size as my Glock 26 with the 12 round magazine but a bit thinner, I was surprised 😮 at that. I put Talon rubber grips on it, I use them on all of my polymer carry autos.

I bought a .45 Shield a couple of days ago and very happy with it.

Is there really that much difference

Between the 9mm and .45 I prefer the 9mm for general carry, most of my carry guns are now 9mm, but when it gets cold and heavy clothes are being worn, I prefer a lager caliber like a .40 or preferably the .45. All of my carry caliber ammo is heavy for caliber HSTs.

Is there really that much difference

I always carry one extra mag no matter what I carry but usually an extra mag off body in the car. As the caliber goes up in size I have no problem with reduced capacity. I am one of those old dinosaurs that believe (in my experience shooting large animals) caliber matters.

    Seven vs Eight-Why it matters!

    Anyone carry TWO?

No clear thinking person would ever make the statement they can draw from an ankle holster in the blink of an eye, not even “Bubba” 😂. People need to carry what’s appropriate for each situation. If a fast draw is needed, an ankle carry obviously is not a wise choice 😏. Easy access does not mean...

    Anyone carry TWO?

For me, the ankle holster is for very low risks locations or in prohibited areas like a church, also as a back up gun. It’s an easy reach sitting in a car or restaurant booth. The right gun in the right ankle holster can work great, I had carried a j-frame for decades. Lately, I have also...

    Anyone carry TWO?

An ankle holster on the ground worked well in most force on force drills.

    Anyone carry TWO?

The best ankle holster carry I had found is a Galco Ankle Glove and a Ruger EC9s, I hardly know it’s there.
