I'd say about time too, drones appear to be reshaping the battlefields. MMMW or laser/energy beams are a lot cheaper and more efficient than expensive one off missiles.

Finally the look at our contenders, Sig 365 and G 34. I should add that only ONE FTF happened on the federal, when the G34 was hot near the end of the testing. No FTF nor FTE on the magtech, which surprised me, on either pistol.

Next up the G34 with the same setup, Fed ammo top, Magtech ammo bottom, both moved out to 10 yds, quick shot but not rapid fire.

Now the range report is ready. Ammo used was Federal/American Eagle 115 gr fmj in both, and also Magtech zinc-plated steel case 115 gr fmj in both. pix attached: In this pair up the left image is the federal fmj and the right image the magtech. Note the distance at 5 yds, free standing...

Several things I was taught as a lad, no shots where: you can't be sure of what is behind the target, no shots except the animal is on the hoof and not bedded down, for waterfowl - none on the water - only shots once birds are on the "wing", flying. And so on. We didn't have all the fancy...

yep. One thing I usually add is to make a well rounded visit out of their trip to the range. We get breakfast or lunch and then do something they want like look at new cars/trucks or go to an outdoor store or something else after the range time. Works like a charm and they have a positive...

what I would use in the .45 LC is my (underwood) +P lead FNGC of 325 gr @ 1325 fps, rated around 1267 FPE which is a stout .44 mag equivalent. They are good quality and penetrate deep while providing punch. YMMV

Missus is injured, spent hours going around to doc offices, xray clinics etc. Damn and in this heat too. Life is not good these days....
