I did too. I removed the COG and sanded a few millimeters off the bottom of the trigger and flattened the inside of the trigger guard to open up the pinch point so it didn't pinch and cause a blister.. This is a VERY common issue well known on the forums.

The slides that Springfield sells are complete, not stripped. They even come with the optional barrel and recoil spring for a lot less than the aftermarket stuff. But, this will be a great option for folks that love totally custom guns.
