My recently deceased brother-in-law was a master machinist for Dow they sent him to several countries to troubleshoot problems or very sensitive jobs. He tried to get me to. become a machinist. In retrospect wish I had chose that path.

Know what you mean. When I was in the repo depot in Vietnam got assigned to 25th Aviation Bn . Was told Armor & Infantry mos's were being used as door gunners. After six months got my transfer request approved to the 2nd Bn 34th Armor.

1/68 Armor 8th Infantry Germany & 2/34 Armor 25th Infantry Vietnam.
