The world was a much better place until they put warnings on everything that reminded the stupid ones not do the stupid stuff that could kill them.
We called it natural selection.
There's approximately 800,000 officers in the US. Statistics seem to indicate that there are fewer than 100,000 death by cop each year.
That's not a whole lot, less than 1%.
No arguing this.
But what bothers me with the stupid ones, is they're in crisis and the first responders have to drag them from whatever they got themselves in, and first responders now risk their safety!
I know several of us are driving SUVs or 4wd pickups, but be safe and smart, if you see running water, turn around and find a different way home to your loved ones.
Enjoying the cool morning after a major rain storm came through last night.
I'm still amazed at the number of drivers who need rescue from driving into the washes with water running! The fire department had three swift water rescues yesterday afternoon/evening.
Just shaking muh head. 🤬
