    .32 ACP Self Defense

ABSOLUTELY! IMHO, ignore the "you need a hollow point load to be effective" nonsense. I have five .32 ACP handguns. Your very best bet is to buy a "European" level FMJ load. Look up how well the Fiocchi 73-grain "blue box" FMJ load penetrates from a 2.5" barrel (on Lucky Gunner's tests form...

"The Men's Department" is down the passageway and to your port side... Keep looking. 😛

    Justice is served in Jacksonville.

She should have been sentenced to 36 months. (It would have done her a world of good.)

    More trouble at the VA...

I laugh and cry at what we all had/have to deal with. May God bless us all. To this day, I hurt from some things that happened during my enlistment. And I enlisted on July 19th, 1973.

    More trouble at the VA...

The VA treats me fairly well. Last week, the bridge of my glasses frame broke. I had to drive to the VA Hospital atop "pill hill" in South Portland, OR. After signing in and chatting with a few older Vets, the optician called me in and replaced the frames within 7 minutes, tops. I love to joke...

    More trouble at the VA...

The poor doctor quoted Buzz Lightyear when he used the spatula, "TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!" And the pain was... TREMENDOUS!

    More trouble at the VA...

The Doctor at the VA studied at the Cordon Bleu before attending medical school. The poor man confused a spatula with a speculum, and his female patients haven't been the same since!

Would it be worth obtaining a 10.5"-11.5" barrel for the Colt Model 6951?

Ballistics By the Inch tends to differ with you. (These are from real guns, not test barrels.)

This is the way life works. Praise God, always be watchful, and protect the flock. I'll be 72 years old on December 1st. There's not a lot they can do to this old Sailor. Killing some remorseless animal before they can do more damage is the least I can do for Him. Welcome to the reality of...

Would it be worth obtaining a 10.5"-11.5" barrel for the Colt Model 6951?

A 10.5" barrel or 11.5" barrel would still be a step up over the 4.25"- 4.7" barrels of most service-size pistols. An added FRT could come close to equating SMG performance. A binary trigger wouldn't raise too many eyebrows. Bear in mind this PPC has no forward assist (as if the original...

Would it be worth obtaining a 10.5"-11.5" barrel for the Colt Model 6951?

You realize that the Colt in question is a Model 6951, right? (Hint: it is in 9mm Parabellum.)

Would it be worth obtaining a 10.5"-11.5" barrel for the Colt Model 6951?

Put it on a Form 4 and enjoy the advantage of the 5.5"-6.5" barrel or leave it at 16.1" and shoot it that way? Comments? Opinions?

    Here's a review of my favorite deep-concealment SA/DA pistol.

I love the way the Bersa and the Zastava can readily drill a target in tiny group. You can terminate a threat very quickly. If you can find a Bersa Thunder .32, don't hesitate. Buy it and shoot it. It weighs 20 ounces. You'll be astonished to see how quickly you will be shooting tiny groups...
