I rode in all three models of the Humvee. The ambulance, the truck, and the "sport model" it was a fastback. Not a lot of room in that one. the transmission tunnel is nearly 2 feet wide, and the hatchback slants from the back of the humvee, about six inches off the rear deck to the roof line...

So bombs and arty. Wouldn't that make the number of rounds used per kill go up? Gave ammo to allies? But then count them as used by US military. LOL what?

    More magazine capacity

Come on bro. A quarter of a million rounds for just one kill. Say that out loud. That alone should not pass the smell test, is all I'm saying. And to your point there is no real evidence that that ratio is true or even the kernel of the statement is true. It is estimated the US killed a...

This smacks of overbilling. Literally impossible. Quarter of a million rounds for one kill. LOL no.

I doubt that number as well. VietNam was entirely covered by artillery. We could put 155/105 accurately anywhere in that theater. And we dropped a few bombs during Linebacker and Linebacker II.

Discussion: Ayoob: Is .45 Still Better Than 9mm?

Caliber debates to me are pointless. It really comes down to what you are more comfortable shooting, and what you are going to grab when something goes bump in the night. Are you going to grab the pistol if a few steps away is the shottie or AR? Are you carrying, is the boat anchor weight of...

Eh. Depends on your "fight philosophy." Do you intend to gunfight or break contact. Big difference on what you'll prepare for. For gunfighting, you cant have enough ammo, while breaking contact one loaded mag and maybe a back up is enough. What I mean by those terms is: gunfight, well until...

10mm Self Defense: A Suitable Defensive Cartridge?

Harold Fish was wrongly convicted. The caliber of the weapon was made an issue because the prosecution knew it would scare the jury, just like it scared you. If Mr. Fish was carrying a 380, would Grant Kuenzli stated in the article you posted, "living out of the forest," be just as dead? Yes...

Looking for a "Secure" IWB holster for a Hellcat.

Nice. And really affordable. I expected it to be 20 bucks more. Looks like quality.

Looking for a "Secure" IWB holster for a Hellcat.

Usually they are clip holsters. i think that's what youre trapped in getting unless you get a custom holster manufacturer to make one to your specifications. Most of the better ones, have Phillips screws which will allow adjustment on holster grip of the firearm so that shouldn't be an issue.

The Army has another new rifle, the XM8 carbine

True, however, the Army was looking hard and "approved" the 6.8 so, in that aspect, it would appear form factor wasn't a consideration or a minor one at best. Looks like the army is once again see-sawing back to a larger format...

    Ammunition & Reloading

Small primer 45 cases. I am finding out Federal uses them and much of the other manufacturers still use the large primer cases. Does the industry seem to be moving towards small primer pockets or is an issue in standardization. Asides the immense pain in the seating section, any Reloading...
