There is a write up about this in Shadow Cell, a book about Billy Waugh's life. The US was late to the spec-ops world, and lots of mistakes were made along the way. It is an evolving world. If I recall, the Nazi was killed from an infection from a horsehair (seats in the Mercedes) in his spleen.

Who is Fauci?

I'm not sure what "concealed carry clothing" is, but I think I know what is meant by the phrase. I just got back from a trip outside of the US last week. I spent time in 3 different international airports. Considering what I have seen people wear last week, and the fact that 90%-plus have...

More magazine capacity is never a bad thing …. Unless your in water over your head or on fire. Disclaimer: I’ve never been on fire, in the water with gun and ammo over my head or even been in a gunfight. However, I have given a lot of thought to the topic. Capacity gives me options. That...

It’s an Interesting idea/topic to consider. Now I’ve got something else to worry about…..errrrr……I mean obsess over. I never really thought about changing springs and followers and bumper pads. Heck, I’m not sure how to even open up a Glock magazine and my 1911 mags might malfunction if I...

One is none and two is one …

A defendant charged with a felony has the right to what's referred to often as a "plea on information," which short-circuits a GJ and indictment. The defendant also waives his/her preliminary (probable cause) hearing if they decide to plea on "information."

Nope. Not the same thing. A preliminary hearing is a probable cause hearing, filed by the Defendant. Even if a judge doesn't find sufficient probable cause and tosses the felony case at that point, it can still be indicted.

The last time I looked, I thought they were overpriced compared to say, a generic AR. I think if I were stuck out in the boonies, I'd rather have an AR than something like this. IDK. Just my thoughts.

Considering how criminal appellate courts generally tend to rule on appeals, no surprise. It's true that the DA does not have to introduce all evidence at the GJ stage, only evidence favorable to secure an indictment. But the saying is true, a grand jury will indict a ham sandwich. At trial...

Interesting to me, if for no other reason than it seems like a huge amount of work to do that.....espically when a GJ will indict whatever you "urge" them to indict (i.e., a ham sandwich). Not to mention, the actual jury that would hear the trial would not include any members of the GJ, by law...

I would agree, and I would also not pick a Glock 20 if I were hunting bear. I believe there are better choices. Now if I were in a bush-plane crash or canoeing down some river, then yes, I'll take the Glock.

Those of us in hurricane-prone areas have a saying, hide from the wind but run from the water. I'd rather not be underground in a flood-prone area, but that's just me.

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

Well, this bunch can spend your hard-earned money. What's your budget?

Poor decisions get you consequences. Stay alert, always consider your options, act accordingly. If you're out and about and things have been getting spicier in your AO, you plan and pack accordingly. It's just that simple. A FEAR bag is an answer to a question already asked ... and...

Keep a couple of knives in the truck, at the camp, around the house. Same with Bic lighters. Those two, and a country boy can survive.

The example in the OP article was stranded in your car, and a Molotov cocktail gets tossed at your car. If I'm stuck in traffic, first off, I am a dumb a** for getting into that situation. Secondly, if we are ALL stopped, I am out of the car immediately and on the move. I think if you stay...

and a vehicle makes for a good, albeit temporary, LUP.
