I guess I should have been a little more specific. To me the boot knife is a good way of carrying a fixed blade along with a ferro cerium rod. It’s not meant to be the first go to knife. I have other knives on me to use. I have enough stuff in my pockets without having a fixed blade also. I...

The knife is inside the boot I can feel it rubbing on my leg when I walk but the scales on the backpacker are smooth. https://www.ulticlip.com/product/slim-3-3/?v=28886f13f578 These clips work great on knife sheaths for pocket boot or belt. Where ever you put them they stay. Works well on gun...

Cool, like I’ve posted before I’m just not a DA revolver guy. Tried a bunch of time but nope. My last DA escapade was the S&W 69 in 44mag. I’ve always liked the 44mag cartridge. Hot 44spl loads was my carry ammo. That did not last long. Also with revolvers not being optic ready had a lot to do...

UltiClip they work great boot or pocket carry.

I live in what we call around here as out in the country ( outside the city limits). It’s very plausible that I would have to make 2-300 yard shoots if the SHTF. So if I’m choosing a rifle it’s going to be in a rifle caliber. AR 15 with expanding bullets. If I need more power my Henry in 45/70...

380 has its place, a quick run to the supermarket to grab milk or a loaf of bread. It’s better than harsh words or a sharp stick.

I made a post saying I was wrong and the Rohrbaugh wasn’t a bullpup and it was the Bond Arms I was thinking of. I had a PF9 that suffered from needing to change springs and extractor out quite frequently but you could afford to keep a few on hand lol. I should have googled before I posted.

Not everyone has the need for a smaller gun than a Glock 19 but I do and that’s what I was wanting to point out. A smaller gun is harder to control thus you aren’t going to be able to shoot it as fast and be accurate. Me hitting a Coke can at a 100 yards is well aimed and very good trigger...

Ok I’m getting old and my memory is also. The Rohrbaugh is not a bullpup design but the Bond Arms is. I get to be wrong one time a year 😂😂. It was the Bond Arms that is the Bullpup design. But the Rohrbaugh was still pledged with the problems I mentioned spring and part replacement. If it was...

The Rohrbaugh is a cool pistol if you like bullpup firearms. It was a small 9mm but it was very expensive and just didn’t make sense for serious backup pistol. Seacamp, Keltec and a few others made more sense since they we a lot cheaper and more robust. You still have to practice with your...

No plans to buy one I was just curious. The 226 is not one on my want to have list. The only reason I bought the one I did was there was so many being traded in along with the ammo by many police departments. They were dirt cheap especially the ones that had the DAK triggers. I bought one shot...

Keep shooting until they are no longer a threat.

You missed my point. It wasn’t cases of ammo it was in the very low hundreds. The springs could fail at anytime along with the extractor and ejector. It was recommended to change these components out at no more than 200 rounds and half that with time also being a factor. Not to many people were...

Rohrbaugh 9mm had its share of problems also. Springs had to be changed out at a low round count along with a few other parts. It was a cool gun but impractical. I think the reason Remington bought it out was they had big plans but found out it wasn’t feasible to produce a handgun that was if I...

The first 10mm FBI load was a 220 grain Truncated Cone bullet at 1400 feet per second that’s 957 foot pounds of energy. That’s on par with a 41 magnum which is the caliber they were trying to replicate out of a semiautomatic pistol. The guns broke and 80% of the FBI could not qualify with it...

It sucks that you live in a state that limits how many rounds you can carry in a magazine. But train with mag changes as quickly as possible and fight like your the 3 monkey getting on the ark and it raining.

My expectations for a handgun the size of the HellCat is from concealment putting 2 rounds on target (A zone) in 2 seconds target at 10 yards. Has to be optic ready (old eyes) and able to be concealed with only an untucked shirt. Zero printing appendix carry. I am not a big guy 5’9” 170 pounds...

Ok couple questions to lazy to google it 😆. Is this gun optic cut? And what is the recoil impulse like. I bought an Sig P226 a few years ago that was chambered in 40 S&W police trade in. The gun and and 500rds was less than $300. But the recoil was horrible on this gun. With a high bore axis's...

I haven’t looked at Bersa pistols in years just googled TPR9 and it’s a good looking gun. Looks to me to be patterned after the Sig 226.

The Bersa is like the other imported firearms they get trashed without any reason. I’ve owned a couple of Bersa’s that ran like sewing machines and people I know that own them and they only have positive things to say about the Bersa. If you like the Bersa Thunder and it’s accurate and reliable...
