I picked this up last week at a local Pawnshop, I ran it at the range Sunday and it was so sweet! 9mm in a 5" Garrison is a very smooth shooter, and I'm very happy with it. It has a few scratches from the previous owner but nothing I think won't buff out.

I have a few 9mm 1911's and I've not had any issues with the mags that come with the guns. I also buy the larger capacity (10 round) mags from Wilson Combat and Nighthawk Customs.

Picked up the Operator as a Christmas gift to myself. Came with the gear up pack and got it for a killer deal. I'm very happy with it so far.

I usually only carry 1 extra mag, 2 if I'm going out of town or a sketchy area.

I bought a Blem Tisas nickel plated Tank Commander 1911 and I can't tell where the "blemish" is. Most of the time, Blemished means that there might be a slight discoloration in the finish or a small nick that no one will ever notice unless they looked for it.

The Steyr looks almost exactly like the Arex Rex Zero 2. Arex bailed out of the US market a few years back due to low market support. Hopefully the rebranded Steyr will do a little better. Glad to see the new model is optic ready.

I've heard that Holosun optics are zeroed at the factory to 45 feet. I zero mine around 25-30 feet.

Everyone has good days and bad days.. There are some days I go to the range and wonder why I went, then I remember that I still had fun even if I didn't shoot very well. Looks like you had a pretty decent range day to me. Harry

Good shooting! There's nothing to be worried about in my eyes. You're shooting a nice group at 30 feet which is well within defensive parameters. FBI defensive standards are between 3 to 7 yards, I usually train within those distances out to 10 yards. I'll run a few Hail Mary shots out to 25...
