The way I understand it, You would need to order the OSP Slide with the Barrel kit to be able to convert your XD40 to the 9mm. Basically an XD9 OSP Service model.

I've been running the 507C X2 also. But just recently upgraded to the Holosun 508T GR (Green dot, with a titanium housing) which I find is easier to see during daylight or at night.
