When I worked for a armed security company in AZ back in 2011/12 ... On armed qualifying day. It was a myself and another non LEO background who were the top qualifiers .... Only about 5/40 in the class that didn't have some law enforcement background. About 10 were bad enough to not qualify.

I'm probably safer than I think I am where I live here in Northern Nevada. In town, a completely different story. A lot doesn't get reported because they didn't want to influence the tourism. It's pretty bad for a relatively smaller city.

When I first joined the military we had to qualify with open sights every 6 months at 200 yards. I use a 25 meter zero now with smaller targets

Have a Holosun EPS Carry green dot on my current EDC. Took a while to get use to it. But I'm good with it. Have 4 other guns with Optics on them. I prefer green over red. Only optic I'm not sure about yet is a Holosun SCS-MP2-GR I have on my M&P 2.0 Compact. Not sure how the "no" battery...

I use to travel (driving) a lot for work .... Use to hear, "you must see a lot of great things" ..... Mostly roadways, grass and trees, was my usual response. I like being retired and able to stay home in my pajamas most days if I want. There's enough here to keep me busy.

Safariland Species AIWB Holster if they make one for that gun. Only 5-6 models available. I have the ones for my P365xl and Glock 19 .... Have another for a Ruger (I think) that fits my S&W 3.6" CSX E well. Wish they made one for a Commander size 1911
