    Glock

    Hmm. I’ve owned Glock 17’s, 19’s, 20’s, 21’s, 26’s, 29’s, 30’s, 34’s, 36’s, a 41, a 19x… And now own none. They’re decent, but not the end-all, be-all that they get put up as.

    Can you ID this rifle?

Looks like a G3 mag, not CETME.

What Is it you think we need ?

There are tern limits on the Presidency…

Ayoob: Why You’re Wrong About the XD

I’ve owned several XD(x) model pistols; my first was the original XDm in .40…wanted to love this pistol, didn’t. Next tried to a XD .45 Tactical, thumb safety model. I…kinda liked it, but at the end of the day, preferred the Glock 21. Follow on with a XDs .45, again, the original…really...

Oh. My. Glob. 10mm is fun...

Lots of people do not very smart things all the time. Your face & hands, your choice.

Quick Q. what is wet vs dry mean? Suppressor...

You can put about a capful of water in the can…but it’s not necessary.

What are you doing right now??

That’s only about half of it. The other half was lifted earlier—you can kinda see the top of it at about 11:00 of the piece on the ground…

What are you doing right now??

Meant to post this yesterday… Watching a new evaporator about to get lifted (which didn’t happen due to wind).

The NEW Steyr AUG is Here! The AUG A3 M2 is in the USA

So the MLOK is nice…but losing the quick-swap barrel is a deal breaker for me.

    1911 need I say more

    They’re SAM—which is not RIA/Armscor.

Oh. My. Glob. 10mm is fun...

    That’s precisely what he said he did… “I have a Glock 21. I picked up a 10mm conversion barrel and guide rod/spring.”

Oh. My. Glob. 10mm is fun...

20mm is fun, but…try a real magnum sometime if you really wanna have some REAL fun…;) Dan Wesson, I believe makes a railed 10w/optics cut; perhaps Kimber as well. RIA makes a doublestack railed 10mm, but no optics cut…however, at under $900, you could get it cut for less than most other...

What are you doing right now??

Just finished trimming up a bunch of suckers off a maple. Moved onto some buckthorn coming in on my back fence. I hate buckthorn.

Potent Potables (aka What’s your poison?)

Not quite…it kinda pops out more without all that hazy hop body cushioning the blow.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Well… Kinda. Not like it’s a new thing…;) Buddy dropped by; local place had a 1930s Commercial 1911 that he wanted my opinion on (if he hadn’t bought it, I probably would have)…they also had a mis-ordered VP9SK-B OR…got a decent deal.
  17. HansGruber

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

I think I just bought a BNIB VP9SK OR. Downside: it’s a “B” (button, not paddle mag release) version.

    Whatcha Watching?

Also—watched the first episode of “Fallout” this morning. Good stuff.

What are you doing right now??

Smoking a fairly small (2.5#) pork shoulder. And drinking beer.

Potent Potables (aka What’s your poison?)

First really nice day that I’ve had off for a couple months. Smoking a pork shoulder, drinking beer… The idea of an imperial cream ale piqued my interest…and it’s pretty damn good. Boozy, though.
