Yeah.....theres definitely the chance of me shooting at a different location and longer range. My uncle has a farm in middle GA and its large open flat fields where they grow soybeans and such. They have a lot of wild hogs and I plan to put some in my freezer.

I've never shot with a scope mounted forward like that. What's it like? How do you get full view? Are there advantages to that type of mount? Sorry....just lack experience with that setup and looking to get a little smarter about it

I recently acquired an M1A scout in 308. My question is whether this gun can shoot the 7.62x51 round or is limited to the 308 round? I know there is a lot of controversy about this. Thanks
