    Optics Question

After reading the article and these posts I am going to set it up with a low magnification scout scope setup and try that a while. I like @TALYNS suggestion of having a dual setup so a high mag scope can be used for over 100 yards situations. But first...the scout scope forward setup with a...

    Optics Question

Yeah.....theres definitely the chance of me shooting at a different location and longer range. My uncle has a farm in middle GA and its large open flat fields where they grow soybeans and such. They have a lot of wild hogs and I plan to put some in my freezer.

    M1A Scout 308 Ammo Question

Thanks for all the responses. I looked at the manual and found this. My reading of this is it comes down to can and should. Softer civilian ammo primers could be dimpled during round clambering and cause a misfire. Therefore, while the one "CAN" shoot 308 ammo in the M1a....one "SHOULD" not if...

    M1A Scout 308 Ammo Question

I recently acquired an M1A scout in 308. My question is whether this gun can shoot the 7.62x51 round or is limited to the 308 round? I know there is a lot of controversy about this. Thanks
