Ayoob: Why You’re Wrong About the XD

Oh man I thought I had lost my mind because I swear I read this article before. Which I had back in to 2020, basically identical. https://www.thearmorylife.com/does-ayoob-hate-the-xd/ Even the story of the guy coming up to him at competition. I do love my xdm, especially once you add a prp...

    San Francisco Politicians Float Bill

Maybe and I might be crazy here, figure out the issues causing the food retailers to shutter business and fix those problems. Then you wouldn’t have to worry about businesses closing suddenly to begin with.

    true, isn't it?

Since everyone here is on board with the people that took the loan should pay it back, and I can’t resist poking the bear sometimes. Then I assume most everyone would be good with increasing taxes to pay off the national debt. Since most the debt has occurred while the baby boomer generation...

    true, isn't it?

Unless congress approves it allah the PPP loans during Covid, that had massive scams as well as the airline bailouts. Which honestly seems to have made that industry even worse, which is somewhat shocking considering what crappy customer service they had before.

    Smart ways to carry

The bend over hip one! This is why I transitioned from the 4:00 to the 2:30 to 3 spot. I just kept feeling like the grip was sticking out.

    Where's the compact EDC .45

I mean they had the 4-inch range Officer compact. That thing beat the pants off my xds. You might be able to pick up a used one.

Officer killed by punk out on no bond.

My thoughts and prayers are with the officer and family. I also pray that Memphis citizens open their eyes and see that the DA holds responsibility as well and ask for him to be removed and held criminally liable for negligence of duty and endangering the public. Perhaps that would make some of...

Electric Nights in a Lawless City

I will do that, hoping to make the trip this season or next. New QB coming in, plus I really want to see Brian Flores coaching in person, dude has been stellar and it’s a shame what happened to him in Miami. But so glad he is with the Vikings now.

Electric Nights in a Lawless City

That’s really unfortunate, my family is all Vikings fans and used to travel to Minneapolis to see the home Games. Which was always a wonderful experience, that we have not done since the riots and Covid. Apparently our choice to not yet return has been a good one. I hope it gets turned around...

LEGEND REBORN: SPRINGFIELD ARMORY SA-35 HI-POWER

Honestly, I don’t see as much out there on it. Granted I am not exactly looking for it. But the FN high power FDE, seems pretty good looking to me. I do sort of want a high power, but a modern one that comes optics ready lol.

More Taxpayers bailing out student debt

I’m not for student loan forgiveness, but in the article it calls out one of the options as having been making payments for 20 years. So that would be having graduated and been in repayment since 2004. The average cost of college at that time would be 5-6 thousand for public, meaning for 4 years...

    Do you agree

I mean, horrible pick. Especially considering all guns. I mean as others said 1911, but when I think iconic, the first gun that popped into my head was a Gatling gun. Originally developed in 1861, and its design is still prevalent today in mini guns like m134. Yes I know the modern ones are...

    New EDC life phase

Iwb appendix is not for me, I’ve tried and I don’t find it comfortable. However, in hot weather, I do enjoy me some Fanny Pack carry. Sure it might not be considered cool, but it conceals well, and with a little practice and the right pack, you can still have an effective draw. I have young...

    Qualify with what you carry

I mean I am in Washington and we don’t even have qualification tests yet. 50 bucks and a background check gets you a concealed pistol license. Not even a safety course or training course (granted I recommend taking one to new shooters). We also do not have to list our carry guns.

How To Carry a Concealed Pistol Comfortably and Confidently for the First Time

Honestly the biggest thing about ccw comfort for me, has been gun width and belt. I recently update to a Kore belt and man, it makes a huge difference at least for me. I love that you can make minor adjustments quickly rather then punching new holes in leather and adjust by buckle. It’s been a...

5 Reasons Why a Springfield Hellcat Should Be Your First Handgun

The hellcat is fine but I have to disagree that it should be the 1st since that would mean a new gun owner and new shooter. Being a micro 9 the recoil will be more then a compact or full size and thus not as fun to shoot at the range and train with (something a new owner/ shooter should be doing...

I mean if it was on a working DC-17m Interchangeable Weapon System sign me up!

    YOUR CURRENT EDC

Okay little update, I’m sure I have mentioned my disdain of flat triggers lol. So I installed a curved trigger on xmacro now p365 and xmacro (main carry guns and nightstand gun) have the same trigger. Which seems beneficial in my head.

Random Thoughts on Weapon Lights, Flashlights, Training, and The Gun World’s Cancel Culture

Interesting article, especially the kitchen situation (god as a father couldn’t even imagine the other situation). So in this instance, it was his father-in-law so no threat but the man did not know that. So I agree with Hans on both hand held and weapon light. I keep both on me, although I am...
