Means of securing a shotgun to a walker

lol, wow! You used a .22 to shoot skeet??? One little bullet for one clay pigeon?! How did you do? Did you ever get 25 birds? That's amazing! A sling would work for the semi-auto, yes. (I'm still amazed at the .22! How far does a .22 bullet travel though?)

Means of securing a shotgun to a walker

Possibly. I'm just thinking that maneuvering the walker around might allow the the barrel to be pointed at someone. Even if the gun is open, that's a no-no. For me anyway. When you're not shooting, you're standing in the back keeping score or pulling the birds. You're gonna turn and the barrel...

Means of securing a shotgun to a walker

That IS helpful. I appreciate that. Although, I think, yeah, I'm pretty sure, most ranges prefer you to have the action open on any shotgun on the field. It would work on a Semi-auto.

Means of securing a shotgun to a walker

You're suggesting unzipping the bag, taking the gun out of the case, firing, putting the gun back in the case, zipping it up, putting the bag on my back and pushing the walker 10 feet away to do that all over again? Thanks, but...lol. (also, you don't shoot skeet with a 410 pistol. Maybe...

Means of securing a shotgun to a walker

I don't want to have to take it out of the case for each station. Have you ever shot skeet before? There's 8 stations! lol, thanks anyway

Means of securing a shotgun to a walker

Hi all! I searched for walker and I see that some of us use walkers but that's about all I could find on my particular topic. I normally get around on crutches. But on the skeet and trap fields I use a walker. I sit on the seat of the walker to shoot and then rotate to the next station by...

M42 Duster — From Fighting Jets to Battling Guerrillas

Not to disparage anyone but, um, what is the proof that the North feared this weapon? I didn't see that in the article. It also states that the Dusters were given to the South Vietnamese Army. So, in essence, we left them there to be taken over by the North? Just like Afghanistan. Geez.

Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II — Gun with a Plane Around It

That is so cool about the plane recycling it's spent ammo, so as not to have it drop on friendlies! I never knew that! It's too bad that it was designed with the war in Vietnam in mind and yet did not appear until after the war. I wonder if it would have made an impact in those conditions.

Come on Springfield - Add some color options :)

That's at least tasteful but is anyone else turned off by WHITE guns? Or any other bright color for that matter. I'm very surprised that a gun manufacturer would create a colored gun (or is it better to say, a gun of color?). Or maybe it's an aftermarket thing from some company. I would think...

    Whose Upset

Yeah, I don't really care either way but not everybody makes "millions." My Lib Nephew and his equally Lib wife are out there trying to make it in Hollyweird in the business and I know they are not rolling in the dough. They're just trying to eke out a living and raise their kid to be the woman...

This Is Why Your CCW Won’t Save You

"I’ve found that hesitation to fight for one’s safety often comes from a misunderstanding of the law and how it applies in the real world." Yeah, he's right about that! I've seen too many videos on YT of cops showing up and arresting the legally-carrying law-abiding citizen! (with extreme...

This Is Why Your CCW Won’t Save You

At first, I thought it was "partners" in that way too until I realized he was talking about his fellow officer. At least, that's what I understood it to be after reading the article. Maybe I'm wong.

    Loose M1A bipod?

I'm back now. I had to drive to Pensacola for a funeral for my 98 y/o aunt. She was buried at Barancas Nat'l Cemetary having served as a Petty Officer 2nd Class during WWII. Pretty cool. I was in a rush to get out of here but I was able to calm down enough to snap some pics. And like I said, I...

    Loose M1A bipod?

Okay, I pulled the bipod out and took some pics. I had it attached to the weapon at the range a few weeks ago but didn't like the "looseness" of it, so I removed it. It's difficult to reattach so I hope you can see what I'm talking about with just the pics of the bipod by itself. Notice how when...

    Loose M1A bipod?

I'm heading out for a funeral and am too anxious right now to provide any pictures. I'll try to provide a pic when I get back next week. Thanks to all the replies! Nice! Does that attachment allow the rifle to cant left and right? (I'm hoping not)
