1911 Loaded Operator in 45ACP

I just bought one, from a local pawn shop. In excellent condition, nary a mark on it. The barrel looked dirty, I used that to get another $25 off. I just ran a patch through it, and it was just dust. It's a lightweight model with an aluminum frame. Not a big deal for me. I have 9 Sig
P22X's only one has a steel frame, I've shot aluminum frames for years.

I got to the range yesterday, Sunday Oct 18th, I shot this new Springfield and a
Fusion Commander size pistol, both in 45ACP. The Fusion was a bit temperamental about
the ammunition. The reloaded and some loaded rounds were made by a friend of mine,
who was a commercial loader, but used canister powder. The Underwood standard and +P
was loved by both pistols. The Springfield ate every round without a hitch. The Fusion
didn't like some of the JHP rounds. The accuracy of both was superb, but the Fusion didn't
shoot to POI (point-of-aim) with the reloaded rounds. (high left) Made nice groups, though.

All-in-All, quite satisfactory.
