Warning! These loads were all shot during our "Handloading the .22 Creedmoor" video for Handloader TV. A custom Remington Model 700 rifle with a 1:7 twist 26-inch PROOF Research barrel was used to test all loads. Federal 210M primers, Redding dies and Peterson Large Rifle Primer brass used throughout. An Oehler 35P chronograph was used to record all velocities. Temperature was 57 degrees Fahrenheit, humidity was 27%, altitude was 5,200 feet, pressure was 25.16 in HG. The listed velocities were an average of 5 shots.
This is a wildcat, there are no SAAMI pressure guidelines, so there are no set maximum or minimum charge weights; however we found these loads to work well in our test rifle and pressure to be below 62,500 psi.
