3 inch EMP Ronin had to have warranty work

My older EMP has been flawless-I’m betting it was at least partially a mag issue
Mine as well. A 2017 build. It just runs. OP, once yours is solid, you won’t regret carrying it.

I somewhat tend to agree with you but the mother ship said nothing about the mag that came with the gun.
I ordered and received 2 additional mags for the Ronin and the follower's in the new ones sit a wee bit taller
than the one that came with the gun. Will just have to see how it runs when I get it back which is supposed to
be Monday according to FedEx but you know how that goes........
OP: Did you get the firearm back? If so, have you had a chance to run it?

I guess I have been lucky with this 2017 build EMP 3, hundreds of rounds, no issues. I run it clean, wet and often. Great carry unit. OP, I’m in hopes you get a unit like this to make a carry unit for yourself.
Got a call from a neighbor to visit our local range today. I showed up with this trusty EMP. I ran 50 rounds of 124 WWB NATO ball ammo, as well as 147 grain ball ammo, finished by running a mag of 135 Hornaday Critical thru it. No issues. I am further convinced of my election to make this my carry firearm. It just runs. I think the EMP is a fine weapon, granted mine is a bit different from the OP’s, but nevertheless, they are fine weapons. OP, let us hear from ya.

Yeah...the mother ship did a number of things that fixed the problem.

Reamed the chamber
Recut and polish barrel ramp
Polish chamber
Refit barrel
Polished throat
Tuned the extractor

Just today put a hundred rounds of Federal HST 124 grain jacketed hollow points through the weapon and not one single failure to feed or any other problem so yes I'm a happy camper

Range/qualification day yesterday. Seven of our folks used personal EMP 3" for back-up/off-duty part of qual's. The ones that went back to the mothership after purchase for correction had no issues. I believe that the two EMP's that had FTF's with duty ammo had not been worked on by mothership. I was worried because I had removed the extractor on my personal one for cleaning and had a difficult time getting it back in. In a 1911 style pistol, the extractor tension is critical. When my turn came, it functioned perfectly! I get more confidence in it each time I shoot it.
