Any body have issues with premature ware for their saint victor 308 or 5.56 BCG’s? These photos are of my 308 bcg. I don’t think it should look this bad with only have 300 rounds of bras through it.
Contact Springfield and send pictures to the customer service tech you talk to, that wear/damage to the bolt lugs is the same I experienced with my Savage AR10 .308 and not normal “my opinion”Any body have issues with premature ware for their saint victor 308 or 5.56 BCG’s? I have not seen that kind of wear on my Victor .308 BCG after having thousands of rounds thru mine.Contact Springfield and send pictures to the customer service tech you talk to, that wear/damage to the bolt lugs is the same I experienced with my Savage AR10 .308 and not normal “my opinion”
@KillerFord1977 have you experienced this with your .308 AR?
Agreed. I always believed it was a timing issue. I sent my Savage back for repair and they replaced the lug in the BCG,Agree call Springfield. Stuff happens in mass manufacturing and SA is very good about fixing it.
The only thing the lugs on BCG come in contact with is the barrel when going into battery. The lugs on the BCG are a softer material then the barrel. It's wearing on something in there, so probably check those areas as well to see if there are any obvious defects/damage.
I haven't shot thousands of rounds but hundreds. Picked up so.e ammo Inc. brand ammo pretty cheap and have seen some some Victor 308s don't like it have you shot or k ow of any other people have this problem.I have not seen that kind of wear on my Victor .308 BCG after having thousands of rounds thru mine.
Doesnt look like proper wear to me. I’d contact SA customer service as mentioned
