30x Range Report

So I went to the range to check zero on a couple of rifles. But I brought my new addition, my 30x, .32 ACP Beretta.

I ended up putting only 9 rounds through it. The slide was failing to lock forward.

I would push it into battery with my thumb. It did that 4-5 times.

This feels like a break in issue and not a "gotta go back to the factory" issue.

Also, I was shooting at 5 yards and it was it hitting low.

This sounds like a known problem. I'm on a waiting list for non-suppressor height sights. And spare mags.

Second trip to the range. Seems to like 73 Grain PPU JHP.

All of this was at 7 yard line, free standing. Someone left this target on the backer. I stuck my high-speed, low-drag .22 target on the lower half.

My point of aim was the apex of the thin circle, where it meets the base of the top vertical line.

The pistol is more than accurate enough. If I do my part it will put them in the 10 ring. There were some large plate targets at 50 and I could ring them easy.
