.327 Federal Magnum: My ‘Second Most’ Favorite - The Shooter's Log
The .327 Federal Magnum provides a happy medium between the .38 Special and .357 Magnum cartridges, but how does it fare in real world use?

LOL, you didn't hear or try my 125gr .357 reloads I did many years ago, very unpleasant report and would shoot flame about a foot out of the barrel, very cool at night.......I used WIN296, when I seated the bullet, it compressed the charge somewhat, used it in a Ruger Stainless Blackhawk with 6 1/2" barrel, my dad said it looked like a flame thrower......I’m very meh on this caliber…I like it in theory, but in practice, I’d sooner carry a .38 or .357.
Additionally, it has one of the most unpleasant reports I’ve ever experienced in a revolver.
