40 caliber Prodigy

I would love to see a 40 cal Prodigy. Anybody agree?
The only market left would be USPSA Limited for 40. And nobody runs 10mm there. Limited and 40 cal s almost dead in USPSA as it is in LE circles.. Carry Optics and several other divisions have made the 40 obsolete with quadruple the participants.

So that said I’d really be surprised if they did an 40 as anyone wanting a 40 and specifically a SA Prodigy is not enough numbers to justify.

Personally, I'm tired of everything in 9mm. Hey how about that .30 super carry? What a flash in the pan that was. It was D.O.A. the moment the first page ad came out.
In my neck of the woods the .40cal cannot even be traded in, they will not take it.

The positive side effect of the 30 Super Carry is all the 32 call bullets made going into 32 H&R and the like for us revolver nerds. Just in time for the intro of the S&W 32 H&R UC snubs and Ruger LCR’s….

So to me good timing!

i feel a tad bit differently.

i am sick and tired of all the calibers out there.

i like 9mm, 45 ACP, 38 special and 357 magnum...and 45 Colt

and for fun....22's in either LR or magnum.

as it is, i only reload for all the above (except) any .22

i think, and i may be wrong, if there was a limit to calibers, there shouldn't be any shortages, and maybe the prices would be even lower..the stock piling at the stores, warehouse, would be tremendous, with just a small fraction of calibers......

or Boolits.

I would rather there be a .40 S&W that came with or had aftermarket 9mm and 357 SIG barrels vs a 9mm or even 10mm. I like .40 better than both 9mm, .45, and 10mm for carry as I'm a free thinker, so I haven't jump on the undeserved sheeple hate bandwagon. I personally think it's silly to hate or have disdain for any inanimate projectile. .40 was introduced and basically stepped on the toes of 9mm, .45, and 10mm fanboys, so they all seem to take great joy in pointlessly bashing and hating a great projectile.

Yes, I'm bored with all the plethora of 9mm's. It's like eating chicken or the same exact food each and every day, but prepared a bunch of different ways.

I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing it in .40. Personally I think .40 has its place still like 10MM. Not everyone wants 9MM to shoot. Yes I’m still a newcomer with a little salt in the hair shooter but options are nice. Plus I think there will be another ammo crisis or another situation where people will change their mind.
