Sad anniversary February 13th 1983 2 US Marshals were killed ina. Gunfight with Gordon Kahl and his son Yori Von Kahl in North Dakota.
This was the US Marshals version of the Miami Dade was to the FBI
I delt with the son Yori Von Kahl within the Federal Bureau of Prisons he was injured and when shot at a second time a 38 Special hit a handgun he had in a chest rig.
And was captured.
The book “Bitter Harvest” covered the story as the late 80’s movie series “in the line of duty Manhunt in the Dakotas”
