I think I have an addiction to doing the 4473 this last year. Personally I need to get off of GB till I get to another range. Done 8 or 9 4473 this year.
I get it. GB is addictive, but I’ve closed out my collection in past two years with some quality revolvers. I’m blown away by the number of safe queens that still remain out there. Why anyone would buy a new production revolver today boggles my mind.

I said I was done twice, after the second time I bought 5 more. 3 were a referral from an older man selling off some Smith 31’s. And then I loved my j-frame snubs so much I had to also have a couple of k-frame model 10’s. Still waiting on the last one. But I’m done Haywood…this time.

I’m done for 2026. When the time comes again I will work on my list again. I have enough to work on and time to save up again because a few on my list are 2k (CZ TS2).

i haven't bought anything on Gun Broker since the scandemic when the LGS had the longest lines ever...several blocks LONG....!!

everyone wanted the P365.......

hardly anyone was buying revolvers or 45's......

when i decided to get to the LGS like about 2 hours BEFORE opening, and stand at the door, to insure i'd be among the first 10 allowed inside, i went for the 45's either in plastic or the heavy 1911's.

GunBroker is a viable source, many times at a much lower cost than retail, but in the past now, since the veil of doom lifted from the Covid days......i have been going to my LGS, where there, i DO get a discount off of retail, many times, on the many items they have....not to mention, no transfer fee's, or background checking fee's.

that to me speaks of the service where the local stores shine brighter.

It all depends on what the item is, depends on where I go too. I don’t dish the brick and mortar stores at all but where I live makes it a tad inconvenient to go look (especially if I work 6 days a week and my only day off is a Sunday). I have gone to where I get my transfer done and asked them one time about the price of something and got told I could get it cheaper on GB and transferred over.

Short story is I have a few places I look at and will travel a little bit in Illinois for it (my CZ P09C was 125 off at Scheels)
