Excellent article. Booya Sam does his usual outstanding job of finding all the strengths and weaknesses of the test gun, and honestly reporting them.
I have three .45 ACP revolvers, two old-school 25-2s and a 1937 Brazilian (same as M1917). Mine are about as accurate as the article gun, and, irritatingly, the ancient Brazilian M1917 is the most accurate of the three. I have NOT done any load development with them, just shot them with my standard all-round practice load of 5.3 grains of WW231 under a 200 grain cast lead semiwadcutter.
