6.8 SPC, 6.5 GRENDEL or 7.62x39

Fixin to get an Upper for this poverty pony lower i got a while back, Now i'm not lookin to buy no high dollar unit to stick on it cause it's not a high dollar lower. Actually, i'm looking at bear creek uppers. now i know they have a good bad reputation. I know a guy that has one in 7.62x39 and it runs like a champ.

Kinda leaning to the 6.8 SPC as i don't have one. i have one grendel and a few commie round guns. the bear creek complete uppers only run 250 to 270 each. I was gonna make a poll with each one or all three but knew what you enablers would say on that. :ROFLMAO:

I’ve got a 6.8, and my only gripes are that it’s hard to find ammo for it around here, and if you run heavier ammo you need to find the right mags.

Beyond that, though…I like it.

Probably goin with the 6.8 or 6.5 Grendel, i have a low dollar 7.62x39 rifle and a high dollar 7.62x39 rifle coming next week, so that one i don't need. plus i have others in that caliber. i have one diamondback 6.5 grendel and have killed deer with it and hogs too.. but never owned a 6.8. just may get both of these but may wait to see what this bear creek 7.62 rifle that's coming will do. if it works then i will order them if it don't i will look elsewhere. these are the ones i have in the basket They only have two or three different ones in the 6.8 and only black. i will have to put some kind of different color furniture on it or be scared to death all the time.

i only have 2 of the 3 you listed (6.8spc & 6.5gren). i'm a 26cal fan, but would pick the 6.8spc over the 6.5gren AND 7.62x39. be careful on which brand of mags you but for either 6.8 and 6.5! some aren't as reliable as others regardless of price. the 6.5 offers better bc's than the 6.8, but if you're not shooting past 500 i'd still get the 6.8.

spent some time lurking on the site sniper'shide, from a few years back, where several gunny sgts were arguing the details on SPC and SPC II with 6.5 grendel thrown in for fun. Well, what I can say is who really cares who is "right" just do your own due diligence, pick something and get good with it.
