To be totally honest, I have never used a weapon mounted light, thinking now, maybe I should invest in one, thanks Mike.
Hold out for a bottle opener. Everything has to come with a bottle opener these days.
I have never wanted a light on my firearm and still don't however I always have a good light on me . Sometimes 2.

I’m a bit of a light geek...and Surefire is THE top-tier weaponlight going.
Nothing against Streamlight...I have their lights, and they make good kit...but if you want a light that absolutely, positively, MUST be able to take a beating, and keep on going? Get a Surefire.
I’ve got an early X300, had it 10+ years, I think? 250lu model, iirc...it’s been on rifles, pistols, taken many classes, and has never failed.

I was NEVER a weapon mounted light fan until 20 hogs charged by at 5 feet and the thermal scopes couldn't keep up with the rapid close in movement.
EVERY tactical pistol and rifle now has a 1000 lumen light on it.
Surefire got lots of my money .
