Welcome to the forum from the Wild Wild Upper Midwest.

I've changed the sights on a few of my pistols. I imagine a previous owner did the same thing to your Garrison. Mine still has the stock sights, but VZ grips. Three dot sights are OK but my old eyes like a little more contrast.

My little collection: 9mm Ronin Range Officer, .45 Garrison, Sig 1911-X.

Id prefer one in 38 SUPER I had a 1911 in 9mm and it was a nice shooter; but I always wondered why? at least on a practical level

Probably have to get it cut and installed. Springfield use to offer the Range Officer line of the past was probably the best priced 1911 that worked with nice Bo Mar type adjustable target sights. Perhaps SA will offer a Garrison version of that at some point
