A.I. Is Creating Fake Firearms. Here's How To Spot Them

Just like anything else out there, commonsense rules. I always look at every photo and question it. Every ad, every friend request, every post. Most of them are easily identified. Some are more difficult and require close scrutiny. Of course, I get a friend request from some hot looking young thang saying "I have read your posts and find you to be funny. We have lot in common and I would like to know you better. Love you long time." I know it's real. I am that hot............Because I get the same message from the same woman with different names and ages all day long.

I love showing those requests to my wife. I tell her "Look at that poor young girl! She barely has enough money for clothes to cover herself. I should friend her immediately".

My ex sent me something off of facebook this afternoon showing the St. L. Arch leaning towards the river. The write up said that it was due to a water main break and then a freeze event the Arch was leaning.

I looked at it a minute and texted her back saying , " It is leaning at about a 45 degree angle. If it were to go that far it would go ahead and fall in the river. " A little later she text me to tell me it was false.

Unfortunately, AI is going to get better. The more factual data the LLM has access to, the more it can fill in on generated news articles, pictures, logos, legal opinions, gun reviews, etc, instead of just making up stuff for the prompted answer. Let's be careful out there.

My AI won't talk to me any more about guns, we use to have great conversations until I mention I bought a night vision scope, I guess that made me a terrorist. I asked if my R9 would be ok on a 16 inch barrel AR 10 308 and it told me to go check with the manufacturer that it can't give advice!
