Hitting the kid with her fist and a water bottle and then slamming his head up against the airplane window is not the same as being spanked or grounded for disciplinary reasons. I think what she did is a bit much. BTW, we assume the woman was his mom, but authorities aren't saying what the relationship is.

Yep. My mom just said “Wait until we get home. I’m going to tell your Father everything”. It only took afew times for that to happen before I realized that life is much better when I listen to her and mind my manners.

If she beat the kid. My buddy whipped his kid on the ass in a grocery store parking lot and the next day DFS showed up at his door.

Exactly, nobody has the right to “beat” a child especially someone else’s child.

All the talk of the poor mistreated child is well taken. If truth be told, the youth today is one of the reasons I carry a gun.
The lack of respect for elders is abhorrent. It is as if they are untouchable by law enforcement. We give the police video of them breaking into our vehicles among other things and get zero results.
I say if they want to play grownup games, they get grownup prizes.
