Yep. That translucent orange color bar of soap was my kryptonite. That was my Mom’s favorite choice for washing out “those words” I heard my Father say but I wasn’t allowed to say.Not excusing any unnecessary abuse, but if the little bastard had been taught some manners as a toddler and maybe had his mouth washed with soap a time or two the whole incident would never have occurred. I can't imagine any of my children or grandchildren behaving in such a way.
Assuming these statements wasn't amplified by some appalled Karen busybody.Hitting the kid with her fist and a water bottle and then slamming his head up against the airplane window is not the same as being spanked or grounded for disciplinary reasons.

The hearsay is from witness statements provided to the police. Now it's in a court of law and hopefully will be determined if it's hearsay or a valid complaint. Is she too fat to fit in the seat? Did she smack his head into the window? Hearsay, so far. But I would wager there is no Dad at home, and when she gets out of the clink, he is gonna have a Come to Jesus Moment. Hope he enjoys his time in Juvie.
When us kids were fighting he’d whup all three of us and then say “ okay, punishments over, no point in lying anymore, what happened ?”My father was a Master of the Art of “Corrective Training”. We had two large steel galvanized trash cans. I would scrub them inside and out then, once they were dry, I polished them with metal polish.
They were the the best looking trash cans on the block.
The thing was, we never used them to put trash in. They stay in the garage. We had other trash cans we used.
I hated those trash cans. If they were on the curb all shiny and clean the neighborhood knew I did something wrong and was grounded
