A no frills 357...

My father in-law has one of these that he carried when he worked as a cop in the 1970's. I love that gun, which my sons affectionately refer to as a "PawPaw's Cannon". I would pick one up in a heartbeat if I could find one for a good price. I'm in no rush though, because for now I think it's cool that my boys associate this type of gun with their grandfather. The boys associate my father's 1911, like the one he carried in Vietnam, with him. I sometimes wonder if my grandkids will ever be as impressed with the polymer semi-autos I carry now. I'm not sure my Glocks and XD's will ever have the same cool factor as a classic wheelgun or 1911.
