At the risk of being declared ignorant, I believe that the Uinited States is generally one of the safest countries in the world. I often wonder if there is too much unfounded fear present.

who cares if you get called ignroant. say your piece. lots of people get sppoked by things theyve never experienced. imagination is scarier than reality. lots of people think going to chicago is like going to mad max world. we do live in a very safe country

Everyone wants voters scared. Dems want you scared of guns and religion so you dont learn a 9mm doesnt bliw the lungs out and suppressors dont just go ping and so folks get fired up by not baking a cake for a gay wedding. reps want you scared of immigrants, trans, and "urban" folk so people think they get shot as soon as they go to a city and ice should pound brown people and a trans kid in school means everyone has to poop in a litter box. Its all stupid. Dont bite on it and tell them to shut up

Yes, you have to make a real effort to find truth these days. Too many people don't bother and just believe the half-truths and bias from the mainstream media.
