The original Silly Goose was not very popular, and eventually just left the forum. Just my advice to you, take it or leave it. It might be best to just "lurk" awhile on a thread in this forum before posting. Try to silently "sound out" what most members are posting before you throw in your two cents. While there are certainly a few liberals as members of this forum, they are in the vast minority here. There is no quicker way to get your posts deleted, yourself getting put in "time out", or even banned from the forum for starting arguments or "rocking the boat" with politics. Just saying. You don't show up to an Amish barn raising with beer and hookers.

Thanks for this advice. Folks here may or may not be solid thinkers on political or social issues. The real reason I am here is to learn more about shooting and I'm pretty sure many here KNOW about guns and shooting!

The people here have been very nice and civil to me with only one exception. I think he blocked me when we disagreed once. So far its been very nice and no one is a jerk. Be cool and most people will be cool
