All the more reason for the 2A - it looks like it's on globally

I dont know what they do for real. ive seen guys wearing swastika band getting punched which seems minor all things considered. Asking for it doing that. My grandpa did that a few years back in the 40s. I dont believe much of what the white house says they'd declare the salvation army terrorists if they said something trump didnt like. Isn't antifi an ideology with no actual group? So they're saying beliefs are criminal? Like I said, I dont know what antifi actually is or does. Thry sound like they're just a boogeyman getting thrown around

We're you out of state, or unconcious during the George Floyd riots in "The Cities"?

That was all Antifa and BLM.

“Nearly all members subscribe to some form of anarchist or socialist ideology, although members often belong to different subsets of those ideologies including Maoism, anarcho-communism and others.”

I don't know, however with exception of a rather anti gun environment, Denver in my experience is a great city (certainly not world class like as New York, London, Paris, orTokyo). Crime rate was measurably lower in 2025 compared to 2024. Everyone in my circle of friends and acquaintances feel very safe day to day.

So you don't live near 5 Points for sure. Probably not off of Colfax, or near Union Station, unless its in a gated community. Which is it? Wash Park, Cherry Creek, Stapleton or Greenwood Village?

Denver and Colorado have seen some serious public safety and homelessness problems over the past decade. Between 2013 and 2022, Colorado's violent-crime rate increased 61%, compared with just 3% nationally. Motor vehicle theft skyrocketed 231%, homicide increased 94%, and property crime rose 19% while the national property-crime rate fell 29%, according to the Colorado Department of Public Safety.

Homelessness has followed a similarly troubling trajectory. Denver's homeless population counted during the annual survey increased from 3,943 in 2019 to 7,327 in 2025—an 86% increase. Across the seven-county Denver metro area, the count climbed from 5,755 to 10,774. Chronic homelessness also surged.

More recent numbers show some improvement: crime has declined in several categories, and Denver's 2026 homelessness count fell to 6,411. But those improvements don't erase the preceding increases.

So the reason I left involves the facts. Colorado has experienced substantial increases in crime and homelessness over the past decade. Housing affordability, public safety, and the management of homelessness have become major challenges. The statistics establish that these problems grew significantly, although they don't prove that any single governor or policy was solely responsible all of happened under Gov.'s Hickenlooper and Polis.
