Always looking for a good knife

PieterCoetzee

I find that Im always looking for another knife. Currently Im wanting a fixed blade of 3 inches or slightly less with a nice sheathe for daily wear. I dont want it to "look" tactical, especially the sheathe; but Id like to be able to re-sheathe it with one hand (so no straps to move out of the way).

My primary use would be for lite cutting/opening boxes and the occasional cutting of the birthday cake when everyone forgot the knife...

Yeah ....

I use a Stanley box cutter for boxes and a real knife for cutting (birthday) cake. Maybe that's me, but I don't like a universal knife - I like 'em for various tasks.

My current boot knife. I highly recommend it.

Well I cut more boxes and tape than anything else; but I cant quite convince myself to carry a box cutter. My closest so far is a Leatherman; but I guess I just want another knife

I’ve got a footlocker full of knives and a lot more here and there. If the day ends with a Y that’s all the excuse I need to buy another knife. I have different kits so I have to have a knife to go on each one. Heaven forbid I have to take a knife off of one piece of kit and put it on another. 😂 My grandson will inherit a lot of cool knives.

Big knife guy here as well.

Recommend a Spyderco Mule Team. Plenty of steel options. Have someone make some scales and a sheath, or grab them off of Etsy. Plenty of folks supporting the Mule Team.

I’ve look at the Mule team really good price but I have zero time to fool with it. Think I’ll buy one and put it up until my grandkids are grown lol.
