Am I the only one full up?

It’s getting to the point where I might have everything. Leaving the gun store with nothing but unspent money. I’ve bought obscure chambers just to research and search for accessories.

Reloading because I got bored with just shooting, Steel target because paper started getting boring. Elk and bear because deer got boring.

I’m back to fishing this summer. That got boring 25yrs ago, but I’m loving time spent with grandkid. He thinks I’m a savant, he had no idea I could catch fish, I was the hunter grandpa.

How are you keeping it fresh?

I work in my garden, and I have been dabbling in herbal botany - medicinal plants and the like. I have a fondness for raptors and would love to work with them again once I retire.
I do get swallowed up by the firearms thing though. I love to tinker. I’m really interested in learning more about firearms but I’ve had to put the brakes on a bit due to life. I would guess that the key to not getting bored would be to let it go for a bit, mix it up with other hobbies.

Hi,

I know I have everything I need and most of what I want. My little armory is getting a couple of new units next week. I like the unique so I'm starting to collect things that are a little bit odd. My grandkids will be old enough soon and it will be fun to share my plinkers with them. I've been getting outside lately and shooting steel too.

My little music career has slowed a bit since moving away from Southern California. But I still have fun, share the love, and make a little mad money playing in a duo and entertaining at senior centers. I also play on the worship team at church, making a joyful noise.

Mrs. BassCliff and I enjoy exploring our new location, traveling around like tourists and taking in all the local and regional parks, trails, historical sites, etc. Lots of new and interesting stuff around here.

Life is good, and the next one will be perfect.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

how many 9's does a person need 🤣 ..............you know who i'm talking/referring to:sneaky:. while i have time to reload, shoot & waste time on the net searching for something that's never in stock i pretty much search for answers.................no, not the answers to life, but for a way to end my life of pain (no, not the way most of you are thinking, but 1 to live w/o chronic pain). the 1st 3-5 years was easy to deal with and not ever thinking it would put me where i'm at today! even 10 years ago i thought having fusions would end the problems. now 10 more years and no fix. keeping my mind on giving @10mmLife and @Belt Fed a hard time about hui-ponts and a few others about buicks keeps me going not too mention chickens................see, social media can be good for your health🤷‍♂️:censored::cool:. eventually i'll find (or be pointed in the right direction) some good snake oil or an over priced over educated dr that'll have the answer. for now i just keep buying :poop:that i might not ever get to use, but will be here for my wife and kids. while i've been looking (and probably decided on) a gunsmith scuule i talked with my 2nd oldest about doing the same (that way there'll be 1 less to teach) on going. for now he's trying to decide on where he wants to go to school for architecture (1 of my favorite areas) and my 3rd oldest wants to do mechanical engineering and/or diesel mechanics/tech. so here's the rundown on areas the 4 kids that graduated want to do

oldest is a science nerd so he's deciding on either pediatrician or medical research (that's what he was going to do 1st)

2nd oldest, architecture

3rd oldest, diesel tech and/or mechanical engineering (another 1 that wants to do what i was going to college for)

4th oldest (only daughter), communications/tech (well that's like saying i want chips🤷‍♂️), guess she might be more precise in what area after the 1st 2 years?

5th oldest, has his mind on sports medicine/nutrition (for now as he's a sophomore)

6th oldest, hasn't decided as that's just fine

wife likes having the kids around and will probably want to move close to or somewhere in the middle, but i'm not sure if i'd do the same as that'll mean moving further south...........not my kind of weather. having the time to travel and see them would be more of the ticket than actually moving.

with the fire from last year in march and no fixing of my neck i might just lease the property and do who knows what? might fo see @Belt Fed 's hi-po million dollar collection............................that's like 200k pi-po's🤣 or go see how many shottys @Bassbob really has:LOL:? i could jump on the goosemobile with @Keystone19250 and see how much his cat is burned from all of his coffee spitting at his early morning before work checking out what's going on on tal before works looks like:unsure:.

OR

finally get around to finishing all of the reloading, load developments, sighting in and building the rest of the firearms i've had the parts for the last 5 years.

I'm old and broken up pretty bad and yes hunting and fishing was a joy back when. After military I needed recovery time and the high country served what I was wonderful. I left the mountains and went to work pulling steel from 14 gage to half inch pleat. I started motorcycle racing from hair & hound to TT Track and half mile flat track moving up to one mile flat track. It got to expensive even with sponsors so I left that and started back door fight while working as a electrician. A friend of mine recruited me and I became a deputy sheriff then to a federal officer. Now I. Write prose and some has been published. I like the writing as I am still a early riser do my workout and sometimes give evaluation on tracking assignments. Not much money but keeps my mind working and waiting for last call.
