American War Dogs of World War II

Very nice article,
Alot of material is available through diffent groups:
us war dog assoc inc.
also Ft. Robinson in Nebraska is a wonderful visit, anything around San Antonio as Airforce is the provider of K9 units to most military branches. Because of the war on Terror the War Dog Machine is huge business. And rehoming the retired dogs is a needful project. Project k9 hero and Mission k9 rescue and the 37th training wing program.
The dogs range from detection specialists to full on elite warriors. The elite dogs come from very much watched bloodlines and require know how and plan and facilities to support what they do.
Sorry for the quick little derail, but I have a question. Is there anything at ft. Robinson to memorialize the death of Crazy Horse ?

Good afternoon, I know this is an older post, but I run a pet cemetery in Pennsylvania. Does anyone have any good references to find a registry of war dogs?
