I have heard that there was some flame cutting issues on the top straps of revolvers chambered for this round early on.

I got to shoot 2 rounds of .357 maximum out of a Dan Wesson revolver once. I was impressed with it. Set up a target at 25 yards and fired. Both shots were even , within a 1/4 inch of each other , and about an inch high. It was kinda funny because the guy who owned the revolver was complaining about it not being accurate and asked if I wanted to try the last two shots.

He decided it wasn't the firearm and he should practice more.

It was the first time I had even handled a Dan Wesson , let alone fire one. It being in .357 maximum made the experience even better.
