Being a gear & radio nut I picked up one of these from Amazon. So far pretty impressed.
--------------------------

The ATS Mini V4 is a pocket-sized (0.1-30 MHz) HF receiver based on the SI4732 DSP, now with a metal casing and internal RF shielding for improved immunity to interference.

It boasts optimised audio quality, a 1.9" IPS display, 1W speaker, 800mAh battery, and now allows the earphones to be used as an antenna when listening to FM.

Compact, robust and powerful, it covers LW/MW/SW/FM as well as AM, FM, USB and LSB modes, with AGC, ATT and Hi-Z circuitry.
  • Robust metal casing greatly reduces interference
  • SI4732 chip shielding for cleaner, more stable reception
  • Headphone socket as FM antenna for discreet listening
  • Enhanced audio: 1 W speaker with optimised cavity
  • 1.9" high-definition IPS screen with adjustable brightness
  • Compatible with firmware updates via USB-C
Supplied with: ATS Mini V4 receiver, Donut WB wideband antenna, telescopic antenna.

More specs

The ATS Mini V4 is a pocket-sized all-band radio receiver combining an ESP32-S3 microcontroller and an SI4732 DSP chip. Available on Amazon, it features a 1.9-inch IPS screen, a metal or plastic shell, and covers LW, MW, SW, and FM bands with SSB (LSB/USB) support.

Core Features
  • Chipset: ESP32-S3 control board paired with an SI4732 DSP receiver. [1]
  • Frequency Coverage: LW/MW/SW (150kHz–30MHz) and VHF FM (64–108MHz) with AM, LSB, and USB modes. [1]
  • V4 Upgrades: Added EMI shielding for the Si4732 module, ESD protection on the antenna input, and an optimized Hi-Z circuit to reduce noise.
  • Display & Audio: 1.9-inch IPS display (170×320 resolution) with adjustable brightness, a built-in headphone amplifier, and a 1W cavity speaker.
  • Power: Built-in 800mAh rechargeable battery charged via USB Type-C (standard chargers only; fast chargers are not compatible).
  • Included Accessories: Telescopic antenna, a small circle/loop antenna, and a Type-C charging cable.
I got the metal case version, but if you want to save $5 they have a polymer case version.
