I lived with my grandparents every summer as a pre-teen. My grandfather worked part time in a neighborhood grocery store. I swept the floors and got to keep any found coins (he intentionally dropped a few for me) plus got a grape Nehi as my reward. Great memories...

Licorice Pizza Record store. We had afew in SoCal. They had free licorice. Grape and Mint. Everyone knew that was the favorite handout for the stoners. The employees were usually baked out of their minds. They liked Grape soda ​
